MBNA has launched a new credit card onto the market, which has earned an 'excellent' rating thanks to its appealing rates and terms.

The basics…

MBNA All Round Credit Card Visa has a 22-month interest-free balance and money transfer term, with introductory fees of 1.75% and 5.00% respectively. Borrowers can also benefit from a generous 16-month 0% interest term for purchases.

The finer details…

Balances and money must be transferred within 60 days in order to qualify for the initial offers. Once the introductory offers expire, balance transfers will be charged at 20.9% per annum, while money transfers will have an annual charge of 22.9% (both with a fee of 5.00%). Standard purchases will attract a rate of 18.9% APR.

Borrowers must be at least 18 years old to apply for this deal and they should remember that rates are representative and dependent on their credit rating. Applications can be made online and by phone.

Why we like it…

This newcomer in the market is likely to garner attention thanks to its attractive interest-free terms that offer the complete all-round solution. Borrowers looking for a card that allows them to tackle their outstanding credit card debt while also spreading the cost of future purchases are therefore likely to take a good look at this offer.
