Santander have introduced an introductory period for purchases and lowered the APR on its 123 credit card.

The basics…

Santander 123 Credit Card MasterCard now offers a market-leading introductory period of 0% for 18 months on purchases. It then reverts back to the standard APR rate which has been reduced to a competitive 16.5%.

The finer details…

The card charges a 5% balance transfer fee, but comes with an attractive cashback scheme which offers 1% cashback on supermarket purchases, 2% on amounts spent in department stores and 3% on fuel and train fares (capped at £300pm).
