Lloyds Bank has extended the 0% interest term on one of its balance transfer credit card to 37 months, cementing its place in the Moneyfacts charts.
The newly-named Online Platinum 37 Month Balance Transfer Credit Card MasterCard now has an interest-free balance transfer period of 37 months with an introductory balance transfer fee of 2.65%, enabling it to sit comfortably in the charts. It also has a six-month interest-free term for purchases.
Balance transfers must be made within the 90 days of the account opening in order to qualify for the 0% deal. Once the initial offers expire, balance transfers will attract a yearly charge of 18.94% with a fee of 3.00%, while standard purchases will be charged at 18.9% APR.
Applicants must be at least 18 years and apply online. Borrowers should remember that rates are representative and dependent on their credit rating.
The extension of the interest-free term for balance transfers to 37 months has secured this card's place in the charts. Borrowers who are looking to clear their credit card debts over the long term will be delighted by this update, particularly as this deal also offers a competitive six-month interest-free period for purchases.
