West Brom Building Society has launched chart-topping five-year savings products.

The basics…

The 5 Year Fixed Rate ISA now pays an inflation-beating rate of 3.15% yearly on a minimum investment of £1,000.

This product allows transfers in of previous ISA savings, but early access to funds will result in closure of the account and the loss of 180 days' interest.

The finer details…

West Brom is also offering a fixed rate bond version of this account that pays the same rate of 3.15% yearly on a minimum investment of £1,000.

Savers wanting to supplement their income will also be able to choose a monthly option paying a slightly lower rate of 3.11%

Unlike the ISA, savers will not be able to access funds early.

Savers can operate both accounts by post, telephone, in branch and online.

Why we like it…

Both products head to the top of the Moneyfacts Best Buys for their respective sectors.

Four Moneyfacts Stars have been awarded.
