Santander has amended rates on its unsecured personal loans by up to 7.9% APR, making them the same regardless of the application method.
Customers looking to borrow between £7,500 and £15,000 will now pay a market-leading 4.5% APR, regardless of which channel they choose to apply through.
123 account holders can get this rate on loans from £7,500 to £20,000.
The rate is available to both new and existing customers who apply by branch, telephone or online (telephone and branch for 123 loans) and borrowers must remember that rates are representative and depend on an individual's credit rating.
