Close Brothers Savings has unleashed competitive one and two-year fixed bonds onto the market, and thanks to their eye-catching rates and terms, they have both secured places on the Moneyfacts charts.
The one-year version of Fixed Term Deposit has a competitive yearly rate of 1.70% yearly, while the two-year variant pays 1.95% yearly. As a result, both sit among the top 10 accounts of their respective sectors.
These postal-operated accounts can be opened with a minimum deposit of £10,000. Neither additional deposits nor early access to funds are allowed, so savers must ensure that they are happy with their initial investment and the length of their chosen term.
Savers who have a generous savings pot to invest will welcome these two newcomers: both pay top 10 rates, so provided the investor is comfortable locking their money away they could be an ideal home for a larger savings pot.
Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
