Teachers Building Society has re-launched its easy access savings account, which has re-established itself in the Moneyfacts charts thanks to its competitive rate and terms.
Premier Saver now pays a competitive variable rate of 1.35% yearly, earning it a comfortable place in the Moneyfacts charts as a result.
This account must be opened by post and then operated by phone and online. An initial investment of at least £3,000 is required.
Additional deposits are welcome at any time and withdrawals can be made without notice. However, only two withdrawals are permitted per calendar year, so savers must ensure that they plan their access.
The return of this account to the market is sure to pique the interest of savers, particularly as it boasts an attractive top-10 rate. However, the withdrawal restrictions do mean that access to the account has to be carefully managed, which may not suit all savers.
Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
