Charter Savings Bank has bolstered its savings offerings with two new variable notice accounts, both of which sit near the top of their respective sectors.
30 Day Notice Issue 1 pays 1.40% yearly (1.39% monthly), allowing it to sit just below the market-leader of its sector. Meanwhile, its 60-day counterpart pays a leading yearly rate of 1.55% (1.54% monthly).
The finer details…
These accounts must be opened and operated online with a minimum deposit of £1,000. Savers should note that access is via a nominated account.
Further additions to these accounts are welcomed and unlimited, penalty-free withdrawals can be made. However, neither account allows early access to funds, so the respective notice periods of 30 and 60 days must always be observed.
Why we like them…
These new accounts both rank towards the very top of the notice sector, something that is sure to attract eager savers. Both boast competitive rates and offer flexible monthly alternatives, as well as unlimited withdrawals. However, savers must note that notice must always be given before withdrawing funds, which means a little planning will be necessary.
