Cheshire BS has increased rates on its two-year fixed ISA and regular saver accounts.

The details…

The 2 Year Fixed Rate ISA now pays 2.05% yearly while the Platinum Monthly Saver Issue 10 pays 3.00% yearly (including a bonus of 2% until 30.6.15).

These accounts are also available through Derbyshire BS and Dunfermline BS.

The finer details…

Both accounts must be opened and operated in branch with a minimum investment of £100.

No further additions or withdrawals are allowed on the ISA, however earlier access is, on closure of account and the penalty of 180 days' loss of interest.

The regular saver must see a monthly deposit of between £100 and £500 to retain its bonus rate of interest and a missed payment, or an overpayment, will mean the rate reverts back to 1.00% yearly.

Why we like them…

This review from Cheshire BS sees both accounts paying competitive rates of interest and sitting comfortably in the Moneyfacts best buys.

Four Moneyfacts Stars have been awarded.
