Hampshire Trust Bank has increased the rate on its notice savings account by 0.25%, which has improved its position in the Best Buy chart for its sector, earning it a high rating in the process.

The basics…

The 90 Day Notice (Issue 14) now boasts a variable rate of 1.25%, paid on its anniversary, which is the highest rate currently available for this notice period.

The finer details…

The post and internet-operated account requires a minimum investment of £1,000. It allows additions of at least £1, while withdrawals require 90 days' notice, with no earlier access possible. Access must furthermore be made via a nominated account.

Why we like it…

The increased rate on this deal has easily earned it a top-3 position in the Best Buys, as well as a high rating.

Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
