Julian Hodge Bank has increased the rates on its fixed ISA products, boosting several deals up the Moneyfacts charts and reinforcing their place in the top 10 for their respective sectors.
1 Year Fixed ISA now has a rival-beating rate of 1.75% per annum, which sees it top the best buy charts for its sector. Meanwhile, its two-year equivalent has an improved yearly rate of 2.00%, enabling it to sit comfortably in the top 10. Also securing a chart position is the four-year ISA, which now pays a competitive rate of 2.25% yearly. The three-year ISA has an improved rate, too, now paying 2.10% per annum.
These ISAs can be opened in branch and by post with a minimum investment of £5,000. Once open, they become postal-operated.
Like many fixed rate deals, further additions are not permitted, but it is possible to transfer in other cash and stocks & shares ISAs as long as the transfer is of at least £5,000. Early access, unusually, is possible, although this is subject to closure of the account and an interest penalty. Transfers out of the account are subject to the same restrictions.
Julian Hodge Bank has certainly made its mark on the ISA market with these improved offerings. The one, two and four-year ISAs all feature highly in the Moneyfacts charts and offer competitive rates, which are sure to catch the eye of investors. While further additions are not allowed, the option to access funds early, albeit subject to a penalty, and the ability to transfer other ISAs into the accounts lends these deals flexibility that will be welcomed by savers.
