Kent Reliance has increased selected rates across its fixed savings portfolio by up to 0.15% and has launched a new easy access account onto the market, securing several of its deals key positions in the Moneyfacts charts.

The finer details…
The fixed rate accounts can be opened and operated online, by post or in branch with a minimum investment of £1,000. Further additions aren't permitted but earlier access is, although this will result in a 180-day loss of interest penalty for both accounts.
The easy access account can be opened by the same means as the bonds and then managed in the same way as well as online. Further additions and withdrawals are allowed without restriction, however, access is via a nominated current account.
Why we like it…
The rate increase to the bonds has secured their positions in the charts, while the new easy access account offers a straightforward, restriction-free option for those with the necessary investment.
