Leeds Building Society has increased the rate of its two-year fixed rate ISA by 0.05%, bolstering its position within the Moneyfacts charts.
2 Year Fixed Rate ISA Issue 63 now has an attractive rate of 1.80% yearly until 2.4.17, pushing it further up the Moneyfacts charts. The first interest payment will be made on 2.4.16.
This ISA can be opened in branch, by post or online and then managed by the same methods except online. A minimum investment of just £100 is needed.
Further additions are welcomed until 31.3.15 and it is also possible to transfer in existing cash ISAs. This flexibility extends to withdrawals, with penalty-free access permitted for up to 25% of the investment. Subsequent withdrawals will then be subject to a 150-day loss of interest penalty, the same penalty as applies to transfers out.
This rate increase has given this account a welcome leg-up in the charts, reinforcing its position among the top 10 accounts of its sector. The flexibility of further additions and transfers in of cash ISAs, as well as the ability to access up to 25% of the investment penalty-free, are all features that are bound to appeal to investors, ensuring the continued chart success of this account.
