Manchester Building Society has unveiled a competitive 90-day notice business account, earning it a place in the Moneyfacts charts for its attractive terms.
Business Notice Issue 2 has an appealing variable rate of 1.26% per annum, which sees it sit comfortably among its competitors in the Moneyfacts charts.
The finer details…
This account can be opened and operated in branch and by post with an initial deposit of at least £10,000. Further additions can then be made at any time but total deposits must not exceed £75,000.
This account allows unlimited, penalty-free withdrawals by cheque or CHAPS payable to the business. However, early access is not possible, with 90 days' notice always having to be served.
Why we like it…
This account offers an appealing rate to businesses looking for a home for their savings. Adding to the appeal are the options to make further additions and unlimited withdrawals, which grant some welcome flexibility. However, there are constraints in the form of a maximum deposit and an unmovable notice period. Business owners must therefore plan their additions and withdrawals carefully.
Four Moneyfacts Stars have been awarded.
