West Brom Building Society has unleashed a new easy access account onto the market, earning an 'excellent' rating in the process.

The basics…

WeBSave Easy Saver pays a tiered variable rate depending on the amount invested. A deposit of £1,000 will receive a yearly rate of 0.75%, while £5,000 gets a rate of 1.10% and £15,000 merits a rate of 1.55% yearly, enabling the account to sit comfortably in the Moneyfacts charts.

The finer details…

This account must be opened and operated online with an initial deposit of at least £1,000. However, a higher investment is required to receive the higher levels of interest.

Unlimited additions and penalty-free withdrawals can be made, giving savers complete flexibility over the management of their account, with no notice required to access funds.

Why we like it…

Savers looking for flexible access to their money will be intrigued by this newcomer, which offers unlimited additions and withdrawals. However, a considerable investment of £15,000 is required to receive the best rate, so this deal will best suit those who already have a substantial pot to invest.

Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
