Virgin Money has launched a new issue of its competitive 100 day notice account.

The basics…

Issue 2 of the 100 Day Notice E-Saver now pays 1.65% yearly (or 1.64% monthly) on a minimum investment of £5,000.

The maximum that can be deposited is £500,000.

The finer details…

This account can be opened and managed online.

Savers must give 100 days' notice before accessing funds.

Further additions are also allowed.

Why we like it…

Despite a slight rate reduction, Virgin's 100 day notice account retains a top 5 position in the Best Buys.

Four Moneyfacts Stars have been awarded.
