Penrith Building Society's new three-year regular savings deal has stormed the Moneyfacts charts and gone straight into the top 10 for its sector.
Regular Saver 300 pays a competitive rate of 3.00% variable per annum.
This account can be opened and managed in branch and by post. A minimum monthly payment of £25 is required, up to a maximum of £300. The amount paid can be adjusted at any time and additional payments are welcomed as long as they do not exceed the £300 limit. Payments may also be missed, but savers will not be able to make up the deficit in subsequent months.
Investors can make up to three withdrawals per year but closure of the account is not possible until the end of the three-year term.
For savers who wish to make regular contributions to a savings account, this deal is a highly attractive option. The rate is very competitive and the ability to make additional payments and up to three withdrawals per year adds to its appeal.
Four Moneyfacts Stars have been awarded.
