Julian Hodge Bank has relaunched its popular 90-notice account with a slightly reduced rate. However, the deal has kept its competitive prowess, securing a place among the top five of the Moneyfacts charts.

The basics…

90 Day Notice Deposit has tiered rates of interest depending upon the amount invested.

A deposit of £10,000 will benefit from a highly competitive rate of 1.55%, which places it favourably in the Moneyfacts charts. Meanwhile, a deposit of £1,000 will receive an annual rate of 0.10% and an investment of £5,000 will get a yearly rate of 0.50%. A large deposit of £50,000 will receive a rate of 1.65%. Interest can also be paid monthly at a slightly reduced rate.

The finer details…

This account can be opened in branch or by post, but must then be managed by post.

Further deposits are welcomed and unlimited withdrawals can also be made, although 90 days' notice always has to be given. The account must be open for at least 90 days before the first withdrawal notice can be provided.

This deal is also available as a business account.

Why we like it…

Although the rate has been reduced slightly, this account still boasts attractive interest payments. The ability to contribute extra funds and make unlimited withdrawals, despite being subject to a notice period, also offers savers a great deal of flexibility, which is sure to appeal.

Four Moneyfacts Stars have been awarded.
