Shawbrook Bank has increased the rate on its three-year bond by 0.25%.
Issue 11 of 3 Year Fixed Rate Bond now pays a competitive rate of 2.55% yearly on a minimum investment of £5,000.
Savers must operate this bond by post or telephone.
A maximum of £2 million can be invested in this bond.
As is common with fixed rate bonds, early access to funds will not be allowed.
Savers will, however, be permitted to make further additions.
This rate increase sees Shawbrook's three-year bond climb to second position in the Moneyfacts Best Buys for comparable accounts.
