Tesco Bank has increased selected rates across its savings portfolio by up to 0.20%, securing one of its deals a prime spot in the Moneyfacts charts.
The two-year version of Fixed Rate Saver now pays a top 10 rate of 2.25% yearly (2.23% monthly), seeing it comfortably hold its own against the competition.
The account can be opened and operated online or by phone with a minimum investment of £2,000. As is common in the fixed bond sector, further additions and withdrawals won't be welcome, so savers must be happy with their initial investment and the term from the outset.
The rate increase has propelled this bond into the top 10 accounts of its sector, ensuring it easily becomes a Moneyfacts best buy.
Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
