Buckinghamshire Building Society has launched a new issues of its popular 180-day notice savings account.
Chiltern Gold Income Generator (issue 5) pays 1.75% yearly on a minimum investment of £1,000, up to a maximum of £50,000.
There is also a monthly option paying a slightly lower rate of 1.74% for those savers looking to supplement their income.
This account must be opened and operated either in branch or via post and savers must remember that 180 days' notice is required in order to access funds.
