United Trust Bank has reviewed the savings rate on its market-leading notice account for charities.

The basics…

The Charity Notice Deposit account now pays a variable rate of 2.25% to eligible charities.
Charities must invest a minimum of £5,000 up to a maximum of £500,000.

Further additions are allowed throughout the term of the account.

The finer details…

One notice-free withdrawal of up to 20% of invested funds is permitted per year.

Twelve months' notice is required for all other withdrawals.

Why we like it…

This rate review from United Trust Bank sees its notice account for charities retain its position as the top-paying account in its sector.

Charities must remember that only one notice-free withdrawal is permitted.

Four Moneyfacts Stars have been awarded.
