What is Admiral LittleBox insurance

Admiral LittleBox Insurance is a form of ‘black box’ or telematics insurance. This type of insurance is usually used for younger drivers as a way to reduce their insurance premiums. Admiral’s LittleBox insurance uses a small device that is fitted inside of the car in order to track how the driver behaves. There is also the option to select a telematics device that is connected through a power or lighter socket by the policy holder. This is called LittleBox Plug & Drive.

The types of behaviour a telelmatics device tracks includes how the driver takes corners, braking style, the times of day or night when journeys are made and the length of those journeys.

What are the benefits of Admiral LittleBox insurance?

LittleBox insurance provides drivers with an up front discount when selecting Admiral single or MultiCar cover. In addition, it also acts as a tracker in case the vehicle is stolen.

The eligibility requirements for LittleBox

Unlike other telematics insurance, LittleBox does not come with an upper age limit. Drivers need to own a vehicle worth more than £250 which is less than 15 years old, and drive more than 1900 miles per year.
