Bank of Scotland has recently announced its new customer rewards programme, set to launch in January, giving customers the chance to earn up to 15% cashback as they shop.

As part of the "Everyday Offers" initiative, customers who have a personal current account and have registered for online banking will be eligible to receive rewards and offers from a selection of retailers. Those currently confirmed to take part include Homebase, O2, New Look, Domino's Pizza, Morrisons, Texaco, The Body Shop, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Argos, covering everything from grocery shopping to fashion and even meals out.

Customers simply have to activate their chosen offer(s) on their mobile or online banking account and from then on will earn money back on their purchases at that selected retailer, simply by using their Bank of Scotland credit or debit card to make purchases. The cashback will be paid directly to their bank account at the end of the following month.

The offers will be regularly updated and tailored to ensure they remain relevant, and the addition of the It's on Us incentive could make shopping an even more rewarding experience.

As part of the scheme, Bank of Scotland will randomly select 500 individual transactions per month (up to the value of £500) and will repay the value of those transactions straight back into the lucky individuals' bank accounts. Customers simply have to register for Everyday Offers and all of their eligible transactions will be entered into the monthly draw.
