Last night saw the presentation of this year's Moneyfacts Awards, with hundreds of industry professionals from the UK's leading financial institutions coming together to find out who got to take home one (or a few) of the coveted awards. The glamorous ceremony, held at the Pavilion at the Tower of London, was hosted by The Last Leg's Josh Widdicombe.
"By continuing to display value, choice and innovation, all the finalists and winners at this year's Moneyfacts Awards should be proud of their achievements," commented Lee Tillcock, Editor of Moneyfacts magazine. "Providing the products and services that have best met the needs of consumers, the Moneyfacts Awards showcase the providers and brokers who have consistently demonstrated a commitment to quality and excellence that will serve them well during the next year."
The awards categories ranged from Best No Notice Account Provider, won by RCI Bank UK, to Best Service from a Mortgage Provider, which saw HSBC take the crown, to several Best Card Provider awards and of course the overall powerhouse that is the Personal Finance Provider of the Year. This last category was won by Post Office Money, with Virgin Money being highly commended and Tesco Bank commended.
Anyone looking for a new finance product or curious to see if their provider won Best Current Account Provider, for instance, can take a look at the list below to find the winners as well as those who were highly commended or commended.
