The winners of the Consumer Moneyfacts Awards were announced last night at the HAC in
Industry professionals from leading financial services and utility providers gathered at the event hosted by television presenter Jake Humphrey.
Thousands of votes were cast by consumers which were used alongside technical analysis by Moneyfacts Group to choose the winners.
"We are delighted with the survey response which received almost 60,000 completed surveys from the general public and resulted in 500,000 answers being analysed, making this the largest annual survey of its kind," Sylvia Waycot, Publishing Director at Moneyfacts Group, said.
"The best product is not always the cheapest and sometimes benefits can be overlooked. These awards showcase the technically good products that also carry consumer approval."
