Its Premium Saver (4) offers 0.65% AER and pays interest yearly. The account allows further additions, and withdrawals can be made at any time without a penalty. Savers should note the account can only be opened online, but it can then be managed online, in branch, by post and by phone.

Barclays Mortgage – two year fixed moving home

Although Barclays Mortgage does not offer the lowest rate in the two year fixed moving home chart, when factoring in fees and incentives it has the most competitive deal in the chart. Barclays Mortgage’s two year fixed moving home deal offers 1.07% (3.2% APRC) fixed until 30 November 2023 and then reverts to 3.59%. This deal is available to those moving home and first-time buyers with a 40% deposit. It does not charge any product fees and comes with the incentive of free valuation fees for properties valued to a maximum of £2 million.

AA – Non-Member Loan

Consumers looking to borrow £5,000 over a three-year period will find AA has one of the most competitive rates on a deal available to non-members. Its Non-Member Loan offers 3.4% APR which, for those borrowing £5,000 over a 36-month period, would result in monthly repayments of £146.17. The total cost of credit on this deal is £216,12, meaning borrowers will make a total repayment of £5,262.12.
