A worrying 79% of people live their lives in a constant rush, which could see them missing out on key deals and even forget essential payments, Nationwide Building Society warns. Their findings show that 22% of people only have an hour or less per day to themselves, which gives them no time at all to take stock of their finances.
As a result of all this running around, 10% have missed credit card payments. This could have serious implications for 0% interest deals, which can be cancelled in the event of a missed payment. Clearly, having no time to think could turn out to be quite costly.
Due to time pressures causing almost half (49%) of surveyed Brits to feel stressed, it's no wonder that 53% are feeling overwhelmed by money matters. Further results show that 18% have no time to check or even think about their finances, while 17% have no time to shop around for the best deals.
