What would you do with a cool £1 million? That’s the happy choice facing two lucky people today as the winners of the October Premium Bonds are revealed. And don’t worry if you haven’t won the top prize – there’s a huge number of other winners who will walk away with prizes ranging from £100,000 to £25!

£1 million premium bond winners in October

The first of October’s new premium bond millionaires lives in Dorset and hold the winning bond number 312TX505194, that they’ve held since October 2017. The other winner lives in Essex and holds bond number 86KL514893. Considering that the value of the bond they purchased in August 1999 was £2,000, that’s quite a return for 20 years of investment!

Other big premium bond winners

October is going to be a happy month for an additional six people who have bagged £100,000 in this month’s Premium Bond draw. Someone in Cambridgeshire has had a fantastic result, winning a big cash prize with a bond worth just £25. Their winning bond number is 324WB566983. The second £100,000 goes to an overseas investor who holds premium bond number 316NV055247. There are two £100,000 winners in London: the first in Inner London won with bond number 345RN067705, while the second – living in Outer London has scooped a windfall with premium bond number 106QC301598.

The final two £100,000 prize winners live in East Sussex and Lincolnshire – their winning bonds were 248KK826343 and 161NQ841375, respectively. Many congratulations to all six of these big winners.

A further 11 premium bond savers won a very handy £50,000 cash prize, with one from Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot winning on a bond worth just £100 and purchased in April 1997.

22 lucky people raked in £25,000, two of whom walked away with a fantastic prize for bonds worth just £25 – that’s a great return for any small investor.

Meanwhile, 58 people walked away with £10,000 to start their early Christmas shopping, with winners from across the UK, including Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.
114 people are now £5,000 richer and 1,939 premium bond investors can celebrate with their £1,000 windfalls.
