United Trust Bank increased the rates on a range of its fixed ISAs during the week, which has resulted in it now topping the chart overall with its ISA 7 Year Bond. Further down the chart, Furness Building Society, Hampshire Trust Bank and Shawbrook Bank all increased rates on their ISAs this week.

Below we’ve highlighted the top rates currently available in our comparison charts, but savers should note that these are the best rates available at 12pm on Thursday 11 November 2021 and, although correct at the time of publishing, providers may reduce or withdraw rates at any time. In addition, the rates highlighted are available only to new customers.

New to the top of the fixed rate ISA chart this week is United Trust Bank with its ISA 7 Year Bond, which pays 1.65% gross on anniversary. This ISA requires a £15,000 minimum deposit to open and accepts transfers in. It must be opened by post but can be managed online, by post and by phone.

UBL UK tops both the five and three year fixed ISA charts this week. Its 5 Year Fixed Rate Cash ISA pays 1.66% gross on maturity, there are also versions that pay 1.61% gross on anniversary and 1.60% gross quarterly or monthly. 3 Year Fixed Rate Cash ISA pays 1.33% gross on maturity, as well as versions paying 1.31% gross on anniversary and 1.30% gross quarterly or monthly. All versions require a £2,000 minimum deposit to open. They allow transfers in from cash ISAs. The ISAs can be opened online, in branch, by post or via mobile app and can then be managed online, in branch, by post, by phone and via mobile app.

Close Brothers Savings has the top two year fixed ISA rate this week paying 1.20% gross on anniversary on its 2 Year Fixed Rate Cash ISA. A £10,000 minimum deposit is needed to open this ISA. It allows transfers in but transfer instructions must be received within 10 days of account opening. The ISA must be opened online but can be managed online, by post and by phone.

The top one year fixed ISA rate this week comes from Hampshire Trust Bank, with its 1 Year ISA Bond (Issue 28) paying 0.95% gross on anniversary. The ISA can be opened with a minimum deposit of £1. Transfers in are accepted. This ISA can only be opened online but can then be managed online, by post or by phone.

The top easy access ISA rate this week comes from Shawbrook Bank, which pays 0.67% gross on anniversary or monthly on its Easy Access Cash ISA – Issue 18. This ISA requires a £1,000 minimum deposit to open and allows further additions. Withdrawals can be made via a nominated account from a minimum of £500. Transfers in are accepted. The ISA must be opened online but can be managed online and by phone.

Both Paragon Bank and Cynergy Bank pay the second best easy access ISA rate this week. Paragon Bank pays 0.65% gross on anniversary or monthly on its Triple Access Cash ISA (Issue 5). To open this ISA a £1 minimum deposit is needed. It allows further additions via a nominated account. Up to three withdrawals are permitted in a 12 month period, but a lower rate of 0.25% interest is paid if further withdrawals are made. The ISA accepts transfers in. This ISA can only be opened and managed online. Cynergy Bank pays 0.65% gross yearly on its Online ISA (Issue 17). It requires a £1 minimum deposit to open, along with a Cynergy Bank Authenticator App or Digipass to use online banking. Further additions are allowed and withdrawals can be made. Transfers in are accepted from cash ISAs on account opening. This ISA must be opened and managed online.

The third best easy access ISA rate this week comes from Leeds Building Society and Marcus by Goldman Sachs®. Leeds Building Society’s Limited Issue Online Access ISA (Issue 38) pays 0.60% gross on maturity. A £1,000 minimum deposit is needed to open this ISA, which allows further additions while the issue remains open. Withdrawals can be made via a nominated account. Transfers in are accepted. This ISA can only be opened and managed online. On 30 November 2022 this ISA will mature into an Instant Access Cash ISA maturity account. Marcus by Goldman Sachs® pays 0.60% gross monthly, which includes a 0.10% bonus for 12 months, on its Cash ISA. This ISA does not require a deposit to open but a UK mobile number is needed. It allows further additions and withdrawals via a nominated account. The ISA does not accept transfers in. It can be opened online or via mobile app and then managed online, by phone and via mobile app.

Remaining at the top of the notice ISA chart this week is Aldermore, with its 30 Day Notice Cash ISA Issue 12 paying 0.55% gross on anniversary or monthly. A £1,000 minimum deposit is needed to open this ISA. Further additions are allowed. Withdrawals are permitted subject to 30 days’ notice, alternatively, earlier access is allowed subject to 30 days’ loss of interest. Transfers in are accepted. This ISA must be opened and managed online.

Buckinghamshire Building Society continues to offer the next best rate with its 30 Day Cash ISA paying 0.30% gross yearly or monthly. To open this ISA a £100 minimum deposit is needed. It allows further additions. Withdrawals can be made subject to 30 days’ notice or earlier access is permitted subject to 30 days’ loss of interest. This ISA does not accept transfers in. It can be opened and managed in branch or by post.
