Savers looking to lock into a fixed rate ISA this week will be pleased to see that many of last week’s top rates remained in the charts. As well as this, Cynergy Bank removed the opening restrictions on its easy access ISA this week and is joint-top of the easy access ISA chart.

This week, both Shawbrook Bank and United Trust Bank both offered the top-paying fixed rate ISAs. Shawbrook Bank pays 1.25% gross on anniversary on its 7 Year Fixed Rate Cash ISA Bond Issue 3. This ISA requires a £1,000 minimum deposit to open. It accepts transfers in. This ISA must be opened online but can then be managed online and by phone. United Trust Bank pays 1.25% gross on anniversary on its ISA 7 Year Bond. This ISA requires a £15,000 minimum deposit to open. Transfers in are accepted. This ISA can only be opened by post but can then be managed by post and by phone.
UBL UK once again had the top-paying five and three year fixed rate ISAs this week. Its 5 Year Fixed Rate Cash ISA pays 1.24% gross on maturity, 1.21% gross on anniversary, and 1.20% gross quarterly or monthly. Its 3 Year Fixed Rate Cash ISA pays 1.11% gross on maturity, 1.10% gross on anniversary or quarterly, and 1.09% gross monthly. All versions of these ISAs require a £2,000 minimum deposit to open. They accept transfers in from cash ISAs. These ISAs can be opened in branch or by post, but can only be managed by post.
Secure Trust Bank and UBL UK both had the top two year ISA rate of 0.90% gross this week. Secure Trust Bank pays 0.90% gross yearly on its 2 Year Fixed Rate Cash ISA. This ISA requires a £1,000 minimum deposit to open and accepts transfers in from cash ISAs. It must be opened online but can then be managed online and by phone. UBL UK’s 2 Year Fixed Tate Cash ISA pays 0.90% gross on maturity, on anniversary or monthly. All versions of this ISA require a £2,000 minimum deposit to open. They accept transfers in from cash ISAs. These ISAs can be opened in branch or by post and then can only be managed by post.
The top-paying one year fixed ISA this week came from Charter Savings Bank, which pays 0.76% gross on anniversary or monthly. To open this ISA, a £5,000 minimum deposit is needed. It accepts transfers in. This ISA can only be opened and managed online.

National Savings & Investments (NS&I) pays 0.90% gross yearly on its Direct ISAon a £1 opening minimum deposit. It allows further additions. Withdrawals can be made at any time but must be made via a nominated account. Transfers in are not accepted. This ISA is 100% backed by HM Treasury. It can be opened and managed online and by phone.
The next best easy access ISA rate this week came from Yorkshire Building Society. It’s Internet Saver ISA Plus Issue 5 pays 0.75% gross on a balance of £50,000, 0.65% gross on a balance of £10,000, 0.45% gross on a balance of £1,000 and 0.15% gross on a balance of £1. Interest is paid yearly. This ISA allows further additions and withdrawals can be made at any time. Transfers in are accepted. It must be opened and managed online.
