Valentine's Day is just a few hours away, and if you've yet to arrange something to delight that special someone then now's the time to take action! However, times are tough and chances are you'll have to stick to a budget, but luckily you don't have to spend a fortune to make them think they're worth a million dollars…

With the influx of discounts and voucher codes out there these days, you shouldn't have a problem finding something that fits the bill. Money off vouchers for gifts, card and flower discounts, restaurant deals, set menus, even money off your grocery shopping so you can have a cosy night in – it's all there for the taking. Check out our voucher codes section to see what you can uncover.

Or, if you feel like splashing out a bit more, you might be relying on your credit card to cover the cost. This is all well and good, but just remember to keep it sensible – ideally you'll want to pay for your Valentine's goodies on a card that offers 0% interest on purchases, but if you haven't done that then you could always look into transferring the balance onto a 0% balance transfer card instead.

So, make sure to see what discounts you can uncover, scour the market for meal vouchers and stay sensible with your credit and you'll be able to treat that special someone whilst sticking to a budget – without them even realising.
