Coventry BS has decreased the rate on its variable rate cash ISA, yet despite this it has remained competitive enough to stay in the Best Buy chart for its sector and earn a high rating.

The basics…

The Easy Access ISA (6) now boasts a variable rate of 0.90%, paid yearly.

The finer details…

The account requires a minimum investment of just £1. It allows instant access, with transfers in from other ISAs, transfers out, withdrawals and additions all welcome. The account can be opened and operated in branch, by post, over the phone and online.

Why we like it…

This deal's still-competitive rate, low investment requirement and easy access package have earned it a high rating and helped to retain its place in the Best Buys.

Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
