Atom Bank has increased rates on its fixed bond range by up to 0.10%, earning them a high rating. The changes see its one-year bond become the market-leader for its term, and the two and three-year bonds become the joint market-leaders, with the two and three-year bonds jumping into the top spots of their respective Best Buy charts. Meanwhile, its five-year bond is now near market-leading and improves its position in the charts, too.

The basics…

The 1 Year Fixed Saver now boasts a market-leading rate of 1.90%, paid on its anniversary, while the two and three-year equivalents pay a joint market-leading 2.10% and 2.20% respectively, and the five-year sits just behind the market-leader with a rate of 2.40%. Versions of these accounts that pay slightly reduced rates on a monthly basis are also available.

The finer details…

These accounts require a minimum investment of just £50. Additions are allowed for one week from account opening, but early access is not permitted, so savers should ensure they won't need their funds back for the entire term. The accounts can only be opened and managed via the Atom Bank mobile app.

Why we like them…

The market-leading and near market-leading rates on these bonds are more than enough to earn them their impressive places in the Best Buys and their high rating.

Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
