RCI Bank UK has increased the rate on its three-year fixed rate bond by 0.25%, which makes it the market-leader for its term and sees it sit triumphantly at the top of the Best Buy chart for its sector, earning it a high Moneyfacts rating in the process.

The basics…

The Fixed Term (3 Year) now boasts the market-leading rate of 2.31%, paid on its anniversary, whereby interest must be compounded. A monthly version paying a slightly reduced rate is also available.

The finer details…

This online-only account requires a minimum investment of £1,000. It allows further additions for 30 days after account opening, but no early access, so savers will have to ensure they won't need their funds for the entire three years.

Why we like it…

The now market-leading rate on this account has easily earned it the number one spot in the Best Buy chart for its sector, as well as a high rating.

Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
