Paragon Bank has launched a new 120-day notice account, which has taken over the number one spot in two of our Best Buy charts. It has therefore easily earned a high Moneyfacts rating.

The basics…

The 120 Day Notice Account (Issue 5) has a variable rate of 1.15% AER paid yearly, which constitutes the market-leading rate in the notice account market. A version of the account that pays interest on a monthly basis (1.14% gross) is also available, which sees it take the top spot in the monthly interest sector, too.

The finer details…

This online-only account requires a £500 minimum initial deposit. Further additions are allowed, and while unlimited withdrawals are also welcome, these will require 120 days' notice. All access needs to occur via a nominated account.

Why we like it…

The market-leading rate on this deal alone is enough to easily earn it our high rating, with its top positions in two different Best Buy charts reflecting its incredible attractiveness.

Moneyfacts rating: Excellent
