It’s going to be a great Christmas for a few lucky people who’ve won big with premium bonds this month. Two people have walked away with the top prize of £1 million and many others will be celebrating wins from £100,000 to £25.
Are you one of the lucky winners?

Two new millionaires for December

As happens every month, two people are now £1 million better off. The first £1 million winning bond number is 309GV354472 and held by someone who lives in Stockport. They purchased their £36,000 winning bond in August 2017.

The second winner lives in the area of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Their winning bond number is 210SF254870, purchased in August 2013 for £30,000.

Reaping £1 million on a £30,000 or £36,000 investment is quite a rate of return. Congratulations to both lucky winners.

Other big cash prize winners

Christmas has also come early for six lucky winners who have all landed a cool £100,000. These lucky six are spread around the UK, with winners located in Essex, Wiltshire, West Yorkshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Tyne and Wear and finally, Inner London. The respective winning premium bond numbers are 363HC569849, 274EZ173779, 330GH324100, 256XA711480, 240TZ374517 and 333YY759877. One winner from this group has had an amazing return, winning £100,000 on an investment of just £100.

Other cash prizes included a further 11 people winning £50,000, 24 winners of £25,000 and 59 individuals taking home £10,000. £5,000 prizes went to 116 people and a massive 1,969 premium bond holders received a lovely little Christmas bonus of £1,000.

£millions in unclaimed prizes

Amazingly, NS&I is currently holding onto £63 million of unclaimed premium bond prizes. There are potentially thousands of winners who could be thousands of pounds better off and not even know it. Holders of premium bonds can keep up to date with the status of their bonds online and even have cash prizes can be paid directly into their bank account. Visit nsandi.com/register to sign up now.

Premium bond holders can check their numbers quickly and easily using NS&I’s free online Premium Bond Prize Checker, or download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
